King Lear in the Forest is a multidisciplinary performance piece about the choreographers partnership and perception of and engagement with various identities such as race gender and sexuality, explored through the lens of Shakespeares King Lear and Jim Jarmusch's "Champagne." The lighting in this piece emphasizes the partnership of the due as it morphs between intimate friendship and performative collaboration.
